ENT/Head and Neck surgeon
Rory Heardman is a recently retired ENT/Head and Neck surgeon. A major part of his subspecialisation was treatment of ear disease and deafness. He qualified from Westminster Medical school and trained as an ENT Surgeon in Oxford, St Mary’s hospital in London, the Marsden and Manchester.
Rory Heardman is a recently retired ENT/Head and Neck surgeon. A major part of his subspecialisation was treatment of ear disease and deafness. He qualified from Westminster Medical school and trained as an ENT Surgeon in Oxford, St Mary’s hospital in London, the Marsden and Manchester.
In the UK, his consultant position was at the Royal Berkshire hospital. He ran specialist Otology clinics and trained resident doctors training to be consultants. He has worked in St Kitts, Brisbane Australia, Nepal and Myanmar. He was a director of the BRINOS ear surgery charity undertook many visits, as team leader, for
ear surgery camps in Western Nepal where he performed surgery and trained local surgeons. He has also visited and taught in both Yangong and Mandalay hospitals and visited the Mandalay school for the deaf accompanied by audiologists and teachers of the deaf.
