MSFD has recently begun supporting BRINOS in the ear surgery camp in the BN hospital in Nepalgung, Nepal. BRINOS was founded in 1988 by Neil Weir and is dedicated to treating, preventing and researching ear disease and deafness in Nepal. It operates specialised biannual ear surgery camps, primarily in Nepalgung and trains local staff. Since it was founded, BRINOS has performed thousands of life-changing operations.
MSFD charity contributed to the soundproofing of the audiology booth, which will help to improve the accuracy of hearing tests and to the travel of audiologists who help with training in ear-care for health care workers from remote areas.
